Europi Asfalistiki continued its upward trend in the first nine months of the current financial year, achieving a 28% increase in profits.

Commenting on the company's nine-month financial results, the President and CEO of Europe Insurance, Mr. Nikolaos Makropoulos, said: 

"EUROPI Asfalistiki continues its upward trend, pending approvals from the competent regulatory authorities for its integration into the multifaceted Intracom Group, creating significant prospects for its strong growth in the near future in order to be present in all upcoming developments and play a leading role in the Greek insurance market.

Profit before tax for the first nine months of 2024 amounted to €3,854 million, up 28% compared to €3,020 million in the same period of the previous year. It is important to note that if the Athens Stock Exchange hadn't performed poorly, Europi Asfalistiki profitability would have exceeded €5 million.

Important for the company's solvency are also the solvency margin coverage ratios (SCR) and (MCR), which are maintained at top levels and, as of 30/09/2024, stood at 197.08% and 369.02%, respectively and are among the highest ratios in the Greek Insurance Market, which ranks the company among the most reliable and solvent companies in its sector.

In the coming years, EUROPI Asfalistiki, taking advantage of the synergies in the Property, Engineering Projects, Warranties and Special Risks sectors in cooperation with Intracom Group, will accelerate the growth rates of its business, making it the leading force in the Greek insurance market.

The company's target for 2025 is for production premiums to exceed €35 million, taking into account the recent legislation on property and business insurance against forest fires, flood and earthquakes, where EUROPI Asfalistiki is among the 10 largest insurance companies in the property sector.

The primary objective of the management of EUROPI Asfalistiki is to create a dream team, which will include senior executives of the current company and experienced senior executives of the insurance market who will join the new structure and enrich the human resources to realize the company's goals.
