The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund has launched for consultation three tenders for projects included in the large program of €650.4 million for the strengthening of the General Secretariat of Public Order.
It is recalled that the project concerns the upgrading of buildings and other infrastructure, the strengthening of technical and operational equipment, the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT), and the promotion of new technologies.
The Strategic Procurement Unit (PPF) of the ΗRADF has been responsible for the maturation, tendering and monitoring of the execution of the contracts for the implementation of the project.
THE TENDERS
The calls are for three projects that are being put out for preliminary consultation:
- Supply of lake floating equipment with integrated thermal imaging cameras and training of operators in the use of the old and new floating equipment by obtaining a license. More specifically, the tender provides for:
- The supply of open-type river boats with thermal imaging cameras: €1.320.000
- The training for obtaining a licence to operate a speedboat: €85.000
- Application of new technologies in the investigation of financial crime cases and supply of intelligent complaint management software: The total project budget is €5,355,338.84, co-financed by the European Internal Security Fund, and includes the following:
1. Supply: upgrade of equipment and materials for more effective investigation of financial crimes
2. Procurement and upgrading of software, such as the development of applications for the automated correlation and evaluation of complaints relating to the commission of financial crimes, in order to forward them more directly to the competent control authority
In addition, a centralised application for the recording and evaluation of complaints received by e-mail and telephone calls and the upgrading and customisation of software for the search, collection, processing, analysis and visualisation of large volumes of banking and tax data for more efficient and faster investigation of cases.
- Expansion and Upgrade of the automated fingerprint recognition and identification system (AFIS) amounting to €5,645,161 (excluding VAT),
- Creation of a Case Management and Investigation Application for the Criminal Investigation Directorate, €1,048,387.10 (excluding VAT).
The consultation will be carried out by the Hellenic Property Fund and will last for 15 days from the date of posting on the ESHES.
€4 MILLION TENDER
Already on 21 October, the first tender for the supply of 100 new full hybrid SUVs for the needs of the Hellenic Police, with a budget of €4 million (including VAT) and a deadline for submission of tenders of 25 November.
The vehicles, which according to the tender specifications must be pure hybrid or full hybrid, and the vehicles must be of SUV type with engines ranging from 1,480 to 2,000 cc, will be made available for the needs of travel within the Attica basin, Thessaloniki and other major cities.
