The Greek government raised €500 million in a 26-week bond auction held today, during which the amount requested was exceeded 1.89 times.

The Greek government raised €500 million in a 26-week bond auction held today, during which the amount requested was exceeded 1.89 times.

Specifically, total bids of EUR 944 million were submitted, with the yield of the issue standing at 2.46%, up from 2.71% in the previous corresponding six-month bond auction (23/10).

At 2.46%, the yield of the six-month bond issue fell to 2.46%—€500 million raised.

As noted in an announcement, the auction was conducted through the primary Dealers, and the settlement date is Friday 29 November 2024. Bids were accepted up to the amount of the auctioned amount, as well as non-competitive bids of EUR 100 million.

No additional non-competitive bids will be accepted on Thursday, November 2024. Please note that no commission will be paid during the auctions.
