Stagnation prevails today on the Athens Stock Exchange, with the market mood gradually fading under the weight of the uncertainty in Europe.
The Greek market, in this context, seems weak to immediately approach 1,450 points, which are the intermediate station before the "peaks" of 1,502 euros, with selective placements gaining more and more ground.
More specifically, in the 3rd session of the week, the General Index rose imperceptibly by 0.02% to 1,429.49 points, remaining almost unchanged compared to Tuesday's close (1,429.22 points).
The arc of daily fluctuations extends over two points (from 1,429.49 to 1,431.67 points), with the turnover of transactions ranging at 2.5 million euros in the first 10 minutes.
The banking index, after the two-day rally (6.5%), is rushing to assimilate the strong gains, resulting in a -0.16% and 1,222 points, 9.5% away from this year's "peaks.".
NBG shares decrease by -0.64% to 7.154 euros, Alpha shares decrease to -0.45% to 1.55 euros, Eurobank shares remain unchanged at 2.146 euros, and Piraeus shares increase by +0.47% to 3.658 euros.
In the high-cap index (-0.11% and 3,463 points), OTE's share folds -1.2% and loses 15 euros. EYDAP and Jumbo, at the same time, retreat by 0.5% and 0.8%, respectively. On the other hand, Autohellas shares improve to +1.9% and 10.4 euros, with Viohalco and ELVALHALKOR shares trailing at +0.7%. CEK Terna and Titan are up by up to 0.5%, just shy of recent records. At the same time, Helleniq Energy shares gain around 1% and recover more than 7% in anticipation of the sale of its stake in DEPA.
As for the mid-cap index (+0.03% and 2,263 points), Kri Kri shares stand out positively at +1% and EUR 14.6, climbing to new all-time highs. Intracom, Trade Estates and Dimand rise by up to 1.5%. On the flip side, Fourlis' shares are down -1.3% and 3.5 euros. A special mention should be made of Attica Bank, which climbs +5.5% after the listing of new shares resulting from the exercise of warrants.
