Two new international destinations from Athens and 7 new direct domestic flights are the latest additions to Aegean's network for 2025.
From the beginning of the new year, Aegean will connect Athens to Iraq, with direct flights from Eleftherios Venizelos to Erbil airport starting on 23 February. Direct flights from Athens to Azerbaijan will also resume on 14 April 2025.
DOMESTIC NETWORK
On the domestic network, Aegean is adding 4 new direct routes from Heraklion to Rhodes, Naxos, Corfu and Kos, while from Rhodes, 2 new direct flights to Chania and Santorini will be added from June 2025.
Specifically, flights from Heraklion airport to Rhodes airport will operate daily, with the first flight scheduled for March 2025, while from June the routes from Heraklion to Kos—with 3 weekly flights—Naxos and Corfu—with 2 weekly flights, respectively.
Flights linking Rhodes to Chania will operate twice a week and are already scheduled to increase to 4 in the middle of the tourist season, while flights from Rhodes to Santorini will operate 3 times a week. Finally, from June 2025, the airline will connect Thessaloniki directly to the island of Syros with 3 weekly flights. The flights are already available in the booking systems.
