The value of loans managed by servicers increased by €1 billion in Q3 2024
The nominal value of domestic private sector loans managed by domestic loan and credit management companies and transferred to specialized financial institutions abroad increased by €1.012 billion in the third quarter of 2024, according to data released by the Bank of Greece.

The nominal value of domestic private sector loans managed by domestic loan and credit management companies and transferred to specialized financial institutions abroad increased by €1.012 billion in the third quarter of 2024, according to data released by the Bank of Greece.

The total value of loans in this category increased to €70,780 million at the end of Q3 2024, up from €69,768 million in the previous quarter. 

The nominal value of business loans under management increased to EUR 23,156 million at the end of the third quarter of 2024, up from EUR 22,788 million at the end of the previous quarter. More specifically, the nominal value of loans to non-financial corporations (NFCs) increased by EUR 367 million to EUR 23,117 million at the end of the third quarter of 2024. Of the loans under management to MFIs, an amount of EUR 11,101 million relates to loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). 

The nominal value of loans under management to other financial institutions increased by EUR 1 million at the end of Q3 2024. 

Loans to self-employed persons, farmers and sole proprietorships
The nominal value of loans under management to self-employed persons, farmers and sole proprietorships increased by EUR 313 million compared to the previous quarter to EUR 9,410 million at the end of the third quarter of 2024. 

The nominal value of loans under management to individuals and private non-profit institutions increased by EUR 331 million compared to the previous quarter and stood at EUR 38,214 million at the end of the third quarter of 2024. More specifically, consumer loans under management increased by EUR 123 million to EUR 15,760 million. Mortgage loans under management increased by EUR 209 million to EUR 22,165 million.
