GAIAOSE, a member company of the GrowthFund, announces that four (4) business entities have expressed interest in the tender, conducted by the Strategic Contracts Unit (Project Preparation Facility) of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund, through the competitive dialogue procedure for the development of a business park at the former Gonos Camp in Thessaloniki.
The following entities expressed interest in the project (in alphabetical order):
- Goldair Cargo Association—Aktor Group of Companies'.
- Association of Legal Entities Trade Logistics AEBE-INTEKAT S.A.
- Noval Property Real Estate Investment Company, Inc.
- Thessaloniki Port Authority SA.
Phase A of the tender will be completed with the evaluation of the submitted files of expressions of interest and the pre-selection of the candidates who will proceed to Phase B, which consists of the competitive dialogue procedure and the submission of binding offers.
The preferred investor will undertake for a minimum of 30 years the financing, design, licensing, development, construction, financing, operation, maintenance and exploitation of the business park at the former Gonou Camp, covering a total area of 672,000 sq. m. The exact duration of the concession, as well as any extension that may be granted, will be determined upon completion of the competitive dialogue process.
GAIAOSE, as the beneficiary of the project, has entrusted the Strategic Procurement Unit of the Hellenic Property Fund (PPF) with the conduct of the tender process, which initiated the competitive process after completing the necessary preliminary maturation actions for the concession of the property to the selected investment scheme.
With the development of the property in the former Gonos camp, Northern Greece will acquire a modern business park that will upgrade the combined transport sector, with substantial benefits for the local community and the national economy.
