Today marks the start of the €200 million share capital increase of Aktor Group, with the subscription of the right to participate in the rights issue and trading of the rights issue starting on 10 January. Analysts believe that the capital raise is a given to be covered while the group plans its next moves. The capital increase will be used to finance €2 billion of investments to develop new business areas.

THE X-RAY OF THE INVESTMENTS

The group will make investments of €582 million in the real estate sector and €190 million in RES within 2025, financed by the capital increase, equity and other sources such as bank borrowings (non-recourse basis, etc.).

Of the €200 million raised from the capital increase, an amount of €50 million will be used to finance part of the €180 million transaction for the acquisition of 56 significant properties in Greece and abroad by Prodea.

A further €88 million will be used to finance investments to acquire portfolios of 1.3GW renewable energy projects at full capacity within 36 months.

An amount of €10 million will finance part of the acquisition of a 50.1% stake in Entelechia, while an amount of €50 million will be channelled into new projects of the group.

ENERGY

In the context of the capital increase, Aktor will proceed in a first phase with the acquisition, from a number of sellers, of RES projects under construction with 114 photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 100 MWp in the Regional Unit of Fthiotida and 8 wind power plants with a total capacity of 32.4 MWp in the Regional Unit of Etoloakarnania. The total capacity will amount to 132.40 MW, with the investment amounting to €108 million and to be completed within the first quarter of 2025.

In a second phase, it will proceed with the acquisition of renewable energy projects, of varying degrees of development and licensing maturity, involving 316 photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 247.9 MWp in Serres and Aitoloakarnania, 5 wind power plants with a capacity of 15.6 MWp, which are being developed in Aitoloakarnania, and 30 wind power plants with a total capacity of 166.8 MW, which are being developed in the same area. The total capacity will amount to approximately 430 MW, while the price will reach approximately €83 million and will be paid in instalments upon the achievement of specific project progress targets.
