The market is gradually turning positive with banks and energy blue chips giving a boost.
The General Index is now trading at 1,498 points with +0.35% and turnover at 40 million euros, while 11.5 million pieces have been traded.
The banking index leads the rise with +0.7% to 1,359 points, the FTSE is at 3,627 points with +0.4%, while the mid-cap FTSEM is down to 2,418 points with -0.18%.
Piraeus stands out in the banks with +1.95% at 4.19 euros, with Alpha at 1.71 euros with +1% and NBG at 8.09 euros with +0.9%, while Eurobank, which outperformed yesterday, remains around unchanged today.
PPC is also up 1.3% at €12.45, with Metrlen up +0.8% and Motor Oil up +0.7%. Sellers on the FTSE focus on Jumbo and Optima which are both down around 1%. Beyond that, PPA is moving strongly upwards with gains of over 4.7% to EUR 28.6, having far outperformed the levels of the Dreyfus family's public offer (EUR 27). In mid caps, Quest, Dimand and Austriacard are gaining more than 1%, while ABAX has slowed down (up to 1.84 euros with +2.2% earlier) and remains around unchanged.
ADMIE shows corrective trends at -1.6%, with Kri Kri and Autohellas also posting losses of more than 1%.
