DIAS  recorded positive results in 2024, with transactions through the Payment System showing a double-digit growth rate and specifically the IRIS service showing an impressive increase of over 100% in volume and value.

IRIS transactions reached €467.2 million, an increase of 15% compared to 2023 and 60% compared to 2020, with a total value of €501.9 billion (+11.6% annual growth).

Transactions on the IRIS service recorded an annual increase of 137% to 57.3 million, with a total value of €6.1 billion, an annual increase of 110%.

At the same time, a record number of direct payments were recorded. In particular, 58% of interbank transfers were completed directly, with 70.6 million transactions (+92.1% annual growth).
