The Athens Stock Exchange continues in positive territory today (17/1), showing a willingness to move higher.
The Greek market, boosted by the banking recovery but also by the improved sentiment abroad, is heading towards its 4th consecutive upward session, which prepares the ground for reaching another multi-year high.
Somehow, Athens manages to maintain the euphoria of January, which already offers a return of over +2.5%, despite showing a clear hesitation to move towards 1,550-1,600.
Specifically, in the last session of the week, the General Index is up +0.70% to 1,517.38 points, gaining more than 10 points compared to Thursday's close (1,506.83 points).
The arc of daily fluctuations extends to 14 points (from 1,507.30 to 1,521.50 points), with a turnover of 74.3 million euros, of which 14.6 million euros are pre-agreed packages.
