Sunlight has entered into an investment agreement to acquire 51% of Lehmann Marine, which "establishes itself at the forefront of an industry driven by the growing demand for sustainable solutions in the marine sector", according to the announcement.

Based in Seevetal-Hittfeld, Germany, Lehmann Marine is known for its innovative non-flammable lithium ferrous phosphate (LFP) battery systems, which are approved by international organisations such as Bureau Veritas, DNV and RINA.
