The management, executives and partners of Alter Ego Media were welcomed by the Athens Exchange yesterday on the occasion of the commencement of trading of the company's shares on the Main Market, while the founder and main shareholder of Alter Ego Media, Evangelos Marinakis, declared the opening of yesterday's trading session.

FIRST LISTING FOR 2025

Athens Exchange Group CEO, Yiannos Kontopoulos, said that "the new year finds the Athens Exchange continuing on its trajectory of growth and stability despite the multiple difficulties and challenges in the European and global environment, exacerbated by the climate of uncertainty. The positive dynamics of the Greek economy are also emphatically reflected in the steady interest and confidence that the international investment community is now showing in the Greek stock market, as the presence of foreign investors in our market capitalization increased further in the past year, reaching 58%.".

At the same time, he congratulated the attendees "for the very successful public offering of the company," which is also the first listing on the Athens Exchange for 2025.

"THE SUCCESS OF THE PUBLIC OFFER IS A VINDICATION."

Vangelis Marinakis said that "today opens a new chapter, not only for Alter Ego Media but for the media sector in our country, which for years has seemed unable to cope with the changing times. Our admission to the Athens Stock Exchange became a reality because it was linked not only to our sound financials but also to our vision, the practical defense of our mission and our principles of independence, freedom of expression and high-quality content. The success of the public offering and the broad participation by the investing public is a very great vindication for us and a vote of confidence in our vision."

VOTE OF CONFIDENCE IN ALTER EGO & STOCK EXCHANGE

Vasiliki Lazarakou, Chairwoman of the Capital Market Commission, noted that "the oversubscription of the issue by almost 12 times is indicative of the reception it received from investors and is a vote of confidence in both the company and the Athens Exchange. It is also proof that our market has returned to a dynamic growth trajectory.".
