
Attica Group is setting the bar for 2030 at €238-€262 million for EBITDA and €915-€925 million for revenues, according to the information presented by the group's management at the Capital Day held yesterday in London.
We recall that 2023 had closed for the group with revenues of €761m, EBITDA of €137m, and net profit of €49m.
INVESTMENTS
The group's investments from 2021 to the end of the first nine months of 2024 amounted to approximately €297m, with total invested capital over the last 25 years amounting to approximately €2bn.
These investments can lead for the period 2024-2029 to an additional EBITDA of €127-€151 million thanks to €127-€151 million:
- Synergies from the acquisition of ANEK
- Cost optimisation from the development of newer vessels
- Digitalisation and other business optimisation initiatives
- The addition of new routes
- the expansion of the hotel sector
- Cost savings from the installation of additional scrubbers and energy-saving devices
For the period 2025-2029, new investments have been launched that will range between €465 and €515 million.
STRATEGY
Specifically, management is implementing a strategic plan that includes:
- Initiatives to optimise operations (synergies from the ANEK acquisition, digitalisation, dynamic pricing)
- Fuel and gas cost-saving initiatives (installation of scrubbers on 2 additional vessels, energy optimization in the fleet)
- Construction of new vessels and fleet optimisation (two new 2 E-Flexers for the Adriatic market, 2 new catamarans for the Saronic Gulf and one new vessel for the inland market)
- New routes (in Crete-Cyclades, reinforcing the inland traffic)
- Expansion of the hotel sector

FLEET
Today, the Attica Group's fleet amounts to 43 vessels.
Domestic routes (Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, ANEK Lines) generated in 2023 70.1% of revenues (€412.7 million with EBITDA €85.9 million) and international routes (Superfast ferries) 29.6% (with turnover €174 million and EBITDA €40.8 million)
HOTELS
Regarding the hotel sector, the two hotels (Naxos Resort Beach and Tinos Beach Resort) generated 0.3% of the group's revenues in 2023, while last year Galaxy Hotel was added to the portfolio.
