Fairfax, owned by Prem Watsa's Fairfax, increased its stake in Metlen to 6.43% from 4.68%.

According to Metlen's announcement, the increase in stake was achieved by converting bonds into shares, while the company disposed of 2,500,000 treasury shares as part of the transaction.

Following the transaction, Metlen holds a total of 2,932,714 treasury shares, representing 2.0524% of its total shares.
