The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) has published data regarding the evolution of sales and turnover for businesses in the retail sector, incorporating the latest figures for turnover from Administrative Sources for November, December, and the fourth quarter of 2024.

In total, retail sector businesses recorded a turnover of €71.57 billion in 2024, reflecting a 2.4% increase compared to 2023, when turnover was €69.89 billion.

Focusing on retail businesses excluding the vehicle, food, and fuel sectors, the turnover for 2024 amounted to €25.97 billion, marking a 1.8% increase from 2023, when it stood at €25.50 billion.
