ATHEX is experiencing a shift in balance, with the market moving into positive territory, strongly driven by banks following the results from the three systemic banks. Specifically, the General Index initially fell to 1,584 points (-0.84%) but has now recovered, rising 0.4% to 1,606 points. Trading activity is exceptionally high, already reaching €112 million, with a volume of 29 million shares. The banking index is leading this turnaround with gains of 2% at 1,480 points, while the large-cap FTSE is up 0.7% at 3,940 points, and the mid-cap FTSEM stands at 2,491 points with a 0.1% increase.
