Passenger traffic at the Athens airport during February 2025 reached 1.75 million, an increase of 8.9% compared to 2024, as reported today by AIA. Both domestic and international passenger traffic exceeded 2024 levels by 2.3% and 11.9%, respectively.

In total, during the first two months of the year, airport traffic reached 3.59 million passengers, marking a rise of 11.7%. Domestic and international passenger traffic increased by 3.6% and 15.3%, respectively.

Aircrafts traffic

The number of flights at AIA during the first two months of 2025 amounted to 31,832, reflecting an increase of 8.2% compared to 2024. Domestic flights saw a slight decline of 2.1%, while international flights rose by 15.6% compared to the same period in 2024.
