The General Index on ATHEX is recording marginal changes as investors adopt a wait-and-see stance, with international pressures escalating due to fears of economic slowdown, trade wars, and geopolitical uncertainties.

However, the Greek market shows short-term resilience, maintaining contact with 14-year highs. In this climate, the General Index records a gain of 0.28%, reaching 1,632 points, with a turnover of €16.541 million and a volume of 3.790 million shares. Among the shares listed, 50 are moving upwards, 34 are down, and 8 are stable.

Yesterday, the general index closed at 1,627.94 points, marking a rise of 0.04% from Friday's 1,627.36 points, in a session where buyers edged slightly ahead, allowing the stock market to resist robust pressures that led to significant losses in international markets.

Trading activity reached €223 million, remaining close to recent levels and well above the 100-day moving average of €160 million.
