ATHEX is moving without a clear trend following the bullish breakout that led to yet another 14-year high, although buyers remain active.
The General Index is at 1,666.6 points with little change (up just 0.03%) and the trading volume stands at €25 million, with 5.8 million shares exchanged.
The banking index is up 0.4% at 1,619 points, the large-cap FTSE is up 0.1% at 4,121 points, and the mid-cap FTSEM is moving at 2,503 points with a slight gain of 0.05%.
Yesterday, the market achieved the 1,660-point mark with a strong bullish surge, led primarily by the shares of the four systemic banks, which occupied the top four positions in both returns within the large-cap sector and trading volume of the session (transaction value in the banking index amounted to €160 million out of the day's total of €261 million).
