Aegean Airlines has announced the order of 8 additional new A321 neo aircrafts, further extending its initial agreement with Airbus for the third time (originally established in 2018, with the first delivery in 2020) regarding aircraft from the A320/321 neo family.
Note that out of the total of 58 Airbus 320/321 neo aircraft that will join Aegean’s fleet, 37 will be from the larger variant of the family, specifically the A321neo, of which 4 will be Airbus A321neo LR (Long Range) models, featuring significantly enhanced range and a newly configured passenger cabin for servicing new destinations with flight durations of up to 7.5 hours.
To date, Aegean has already received 34 aircraft from the Airbus 320/321 neo family, and with this new order, an additional 24 aircraft will be received, as noted in the company’s announcement.
For 2025, Aegean has already received one A320 neo aircraft and plans to take delivery of four more new aircraft from the A320 neo family.
