The expansion of the PPC Group in the Bulgarian Renewable Energy market is marked by the commencement of construction of a new photovoltaic station with battery storage, boasting a total installed capacity of 165 MWp.

Committed to its vision to further strengthen its role in the energy transition taking place in Southeast Europe, the PPC Group is enhancing its green portfolio with the construction of a new photovoltaic station, "Colosseum," located in the Stara Zagora region of central Bulgaria, with a capacity of 165 MWp.

Simultaneously, the adjacent energy storage station, with a nominal capacity of 25 MW and installed capacity of 55 MWh, is expected to be completed alongside the photovoltaic station. This storage facility will support the operation of the photovoltaic plant and contribute to the stability of the electricity system.

The new project will be interconnected with the electrical grid of the neighboring country through a new 33/110 kV transformer station, located at the project's boundaries.
