THEON INTERNATIONAL Plc (THEON) has announced new contracts that will increase its unfulfilled order backlog by over €50 million. Simultaneously, previously secured orders valued at approximately €50 million are being transitioned from the soft backlog to the hard backlog. These new orders mostly pertain to deliveries scheduled for 2025-2026, boosting the coverage to 90% at the lower end of the sales forecast for 2024.

The new contracts are primarily sourced from Northern European countries and include not only night vision systems (NVGs) but also orders for the recently launched A.R.M.E.D. product ecosystem. THEON anticipates additional short-term orders for both these products and other night vision systems not previously mentioned. The company is also advancing on various tenders worth hundreds of millions of euros and expects to provide more details in the second quarter of the year.
