Passenger traffic at Greek airports in August exceeded last year numbers and pre-pandemic levels, data from the Civil Aviation Authority showed. 

 

August traffic was 5.7% and 10.8% higher compared to 2022 and 2019, respectively. Authorities said that 11.35 million passengers transited through Greek airports in August 2023. 

 

In the first eight months of the year, passenger traffic exceeded 50 million, up 14.5% versus 2022 and 11.7% higher compared to 2029.
