Shares in Athens traded flat early Wednesday, following Europe’s mild openings amid concerns for higher-for-longer interest rates and economic slowdown. Amid an uneventful local agenda, local shares are expected to track European peers. 

At 1044 local time, the general share index was trading flat at 1220 points. 

Early movers were Ellaktor -2%, Hellenic Energy -1.1%, PPC -0.8%. In contrast, OTE gained 1.2%.
