Greece’s Finance Minister Costis Hatzidakis expressed Athens’ firm support to the Western Balkans’ integration into the EU single market.
Hatzidakis visited Tirana on Tuesday to take part in the Berlin Process meeting of economy ministers on the topic “Common Regional Market – A step toward the EU single market.”
He urged for additional efforts from all parties involved in order to accelerate the accession process of the Western Balkans countries.
Hatzidakis, however, underlined the importance of the the protection of democratic institutions and state of justice in the EU accession process.
