“Sellers have the upper hand. We’ve seeing the same trading pattern for days…mild gains at one and then strong selling pressure on selective titles,” an asset fund manager said.
The general share index fell 1.4% to settle at 1154 points. Banks were down 1.2%. Turnover amounted to 78 million euros.
Top decliners were Terna Energy -5.4%, Cenergy -5.2%, Aegean -5.2%, GEK-terna -4.8%, Motor Oil -3.9%. However, OTE managed to go against declines and added 0.9%.
Among banks, Alpha was the worst performer with loses of 2.8%.
