Equities fall slightly in early trade despite Europe's deeper losses
A raft of weak corporate earnings added to the already risk-averse mood across the continent. At home investors are in a wait-and-see mode, which is reflected in the light trading activity of the past sessions.

Stocks in Athens fell slightly in early trade, despite deeper losses across Europe. A raft of weak corporate earnings added to the already risk-averse mood across the continent. 

At home investors are in a wait-and-see mode, which is reflected in the light trading activity of the past sessions. 

At 1135 local time, the general share index was down 0.3% to 1175 points. 

Among individual stocks, Motor Oil shed 1.6%, NBG -1.1%, Piraeus -1%, Hellenic Energy -1%. In contrast, Jumbo was up 1.2%, Terna +1%.
