Reports record earnings performance due to cruise business
Third quarter profits rise 28% y-o-y to 27.1 million euros. EBITDA is up 26%, while revenues increase 18% to 62.3 million euros.
Piraeus Port Authority reported a strong set of earnings results, supported mainly by cruise segment growth.
Third quarter profits rose 28% y-o-y to 27.1 million euros. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were up 26% to 39.6 million euros. Revenues increased 18% to 62.3 million euros.
On a nine-month basis, profits rose 40% y-o-y to 65.9 million euros, while revenues were up 13% to 164.7 million euros.
"The company continues its upward trend, achieving historically high-performance results that reflects the successful implementation of the plans of its management,” PPA said in a bourse filing.
