Equities in Athens fell slightly at midday in range-bound trade, on mild-profit taking among banks. Investors are assessing the next step of the sector following the mega-deal with Unicredit which sent the broader market sharply higher. Europe fell on mixed earnings reports.
At 1452 local time, the general share index was down 0.2%v to 1193 points. Banks were down 0.8%, with Alpha losing 1.1%.
Away from financials, trends were mixed, with Lamda losing 2.5%, but OPAP and Motor Oil were 1.5% and 1.2% higher.
