Private sector credit expansion gathers pace in Sept; At 2.1%
Bank credit to Greece’s private sector increased to 2.1% in September from 0.9% in the previous month, central bank data showed. Credit to households was positive by 34 million euros.
Bank credit to Greece’s private sector increased to 2.1% in September from 0.9% in the previous month, central bank data showed. The monthly net flow of credit was positive by 2.1 billion euros compared with a negative net flow of 405 million euros in August, Bank of Greece said on Monday.
The net flow of credit to corporations was positive by 2.0 billion euros, compared with a negative net flow of 322 million euros in August
Bank credit to households and private non-profit institutions was positive by 34 million euros, compared with a negative net flow of 67 million euros in the previous month.
