Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is expected to request higher EU resources to be channelled to migration and natural disasters support fund. 

The European leaders Summit which will take place Thursday and Friday in Brussels will debate  the revision of the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027, the continued support of the EU to Ukraine, the developments in the Middle East, but also migration issues. 

The state-run Athens-Macedonian news agency cited government sources, who said that Mitsotakis will express - also as the leader of an Eastern Mediterranean country - his concern about the diffusion of the Middle East crisis which poses risks of regional instability.
