Building activity was robust in July, with the number of building permits rising 7.5% y-o-y which corresponded to 20.6% higher volumes, data from statistics office ELSTAT showed.

Some 2,423 permits were issued, of which 2,402 concerned private projects.

In the January-July period, total building activity in Greece recorded an 11.1% increase in permits and 16.8% rise in volumes.
