Stocks in Athens traded slightly up early Monday, taking their cue from European shares, which opened higher despite ongoing volatility in the Middle East. At home, the week will be busy with third quarter earnings releases. 

At 1042 local time, the generals hare index was up 0.3% to 1182 points. 

Among individual stocks, Jumbo was up 2.3%, Piraeus +1.2%, while Alpha fell 1.1%.
