The Athens Stock Exchange is moving upwards driven by the international climate. Trading volumes are increased.
Specifically, the General Index is strengthening by 0.6% and is trading at 1,203 points, with turnover at 5.3 million euros and the trading volume at 1 million shares.
The banking index is up 1.5% and is trading at 968 points, the high-cap FTSE is up 0.5% at 2,942 points, as well as the mid-cap FTSEM which is moving with gains of 0.8% at 1,984 points.
In the banks, Alpha is posting gains of 2.4%, while Piraeus is strengthening by 1.8%, National by 1%, and Eurobank by 0.7%.
In the mid-cap sector, Furlis stands out with gains of 1.7% and a turnover of 129 thousand euros.
In the rest of the titles with increased trading activity above 100 thousand euros, OTE strengthens by 0.3%, DEI by 0.5%, and Cenergy by 0.6%.
Mytilineos strengthens by 1.1%, Jumbo by 0.65%, and TERNA Energy rallies by 2.5%.
