The provision of part of the winter heating allowance for the period 2023-2024 to individuals who declare that they heat using electrical energy, in proportion to the beneficiaries of the heating allowance using other forms of energy, which has been granted in recent years, is provided for in the government's measures to reduce energy costs.

The subsidy will start from the beginning of the new year.

The beneficiaries of this measure are the same as those for the heating allowance in terms of income and property criteria, as well as in determining the amount of the allowance.

Each beneficiary is granted an allowance in the amount of 350 euros, multiplied by the subsidy factor per settlement where the main residence is located, and increased by 20% for each dependent child of the beneficiary.

Additionally, the "Apollo" Program is established, the first national energy aggregation program for vulnerable households and municipalities, through Energy Communities.
