The message that his government is resolute in the face of tax injustice and in the fight against tax evasion is conveyed by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis through the weekly review of government work. The Prime Minister speaks of a perfectly measured and balanced intervention, which "does not constitute additional taxation."

At the same time, he declares that "the money from the detection of tax evasion will be reinvested in society for better healthcare, increased education spending, more effective public safety and defense, greater support for new families."

Furthermore, Mr. Mitsotakis presents the recent data from ELSTAT, according to which unemployment declined to 10% this past September. "Greece is gradually becoming a fairer country with fewer inequalities," the Prime Minister stated emphatically.
