A complete file for the establishment and development of the Isolated Large Unit Business Park "Thriasio Commercial Center" was submitted to the Ministry of Development and the General Secretariat for Industry.

According to an announcement from the Ministry of Development, a mature licensing proposal was submitted today, and the business plan involves an investment of €220 million for the development of the first Business Park in the Logistics sector, with the following characteristics:

260,626 sq.m. of storage space

5,278 sq.m. of supporting functions

42,000 sq.m. of container management areas with a terminal station and warehouse (container terminal)

7,250 meters of paved roads for heavy vehicle traffic

5,740 meters of railway line

1,140 meters of railway loading docks

165 outdoor parking spaces for large trucks

1,279 outdoor parking spaces for cars

385 spaces for loading and unloading of goods for large vehicles

Photovoltaic units with a capacity of 10.20 MW with a 7MW storage system.

Minister of Development, Kostas Skrekas, stated: "The first and most significant step towards realizing an iconic investment of €220 million in the Logistics sector is taking place today with the submission of a mature licensing proposal. 'Thriasio' will become the largest and the first 'smart', 'green' business park in Southern Europe, as well as one of the most modern in Europe. It is a project that will establish Greece as an international transit hub for Logistics, providing access to state-of-the-art digital infrastructure and innovative storage automation solutions. Above all, it will significantly contribute to the development of the Greek economy, creating thousands of job opportunities."
