The stock market is moving up in the first session of the week. Specifically, the General Index is at 1,230 points, up 0.86%, with a turnover of 8 million euros, while 2.1 million shares have been traded.

The banking index leads the rise with +1.76% at 992 points, the high-cap FTSE strengthens by 0.9% at 3,008 points, as well as the mid-cap FTSEM, which stands at 2,109 points with +0.96%.

Alpha Bank is up by 2.5%, Piraeus Bank by 1.4%, and National Bank by 1.6%, all with turnovers exceeding 670 thousand euros. Eurobank follows with +1.3% and 300 thousand euros.

Aegean is making a leap of 2.8%, having announced before the opening that the Greek government is exercising the warrants with CEO E. Vasilakis proposing their acquisition for 85.4 million euros.

Buy orders are also placed on DEH with +1.5%, Jumbo with +1.4%, TERNA Energy with +1%, Mytilineos with +-0.45%, and OTE with +0.5%.

On the contrary, OPAP continues slightly negatively with -0.5% and a turnover of 780 thousand euros in the aftermath of the cut in the interim dividend last Thursday.

In the mid-cap sector, Intrakat stands out with +1.8% and Intracom with +2.8%.
