DEI and Trade Estates S.A. are joining forces to promote electrification, starting with the creation of the largest DEI blue hub outside of Attica, at the Commercial Park of Larissa, which houses IKEA.
With a total capacity of 776 kW, the new DEI blue hub supports simultaneous charging for up to 12 vehicles. It includes eight charging stations up to 22 kW (AC) and four fast-charging stations with power up to 300 kW (DC) for rapid vehicle charging.
The two 300 kW fast chargers currently operating at the Larissa Commercial Park are the fastest and most powerful in Greece. They are equipped with features for people with disabilities, such as a special screen and a specially designed charging station. Charging the battery from 10% to 80% can be done in minimal time, even in 18 minutes, depending on the vehicle type.
The Trade Estates Commercial Park in Larissa is home to IKEA and is located at the 8th kilometer of the Old National Road of Larissa - Athens. The location is ideal for both visitors of the Commercial Park and those traveling on the national road network, as it is only 2 kilometers away from the exit of the New National Road Athens-Thessaloniki.
The collaboration between DEI (Public Power Corporation) and Trade Estates AEEAP began in December 2022 at the "Top Parks Piraeus" Commercial Park, where the first powerful 300 kW (DC) DEI blue fast charger was installed in Greece.
Since then, high-power DEI blue hubs have been constructed in Trade Estates Commercial Parks at key locations in the country, including Athens, Thessaloniki, and Larissa. DEI blue hubs will also expand to Top Parks Ioannina in the coming days.
DEI blue is the first electric vehicle charging service provider to establish charging hubs, following the example of major international providers. This initiative began with the DEI blue hub at the Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" (AIA).
