The official launch of AGNO products in Northern Greece by Hellenic Dairies started yesterday, confirming what had been reported by FnB Daily on October 20th by Michalis Sarantis, Head of Hellenic Dairies.
As FnB Daily learns, approximately 21 codes have started to be placed in selected retail points in Northern Greece. These are mainly milk and yogurts sold under the historic brand AGNO.
THE AUCTION OF 2022
It is reminded that the company acquired the trademark and factory of the dairy company AGNO in the auction that was completed in March 2022, for a price of €7.7 million. In the first quarter of 2023, the drafting of the transfer contracts was completed.
As you had read in FnB Daily, the auction concerned the sale of a 132-acre plot in the Lagkada area of Thessaloniki, along with the buildings and mechanical equipment, as well as the trademarks registered by AGNO.
Mr. Sarantis emphasized that the schedule for the release of AGNO products will be adhered to. In the initial phase, the products will be available on the shelves of stores in Northern Greece.
