SARMED is reportedly considering a new acquisition in collaboration with a major Greek real estate investment company.
The company of interests, owned by Yiannis H. Sarantitis, has become one of the leading players in logistics over the past three years, continuously expanding its portfolio of owned storage spaces, as well as managing the client base of the businesses it oversees.
In this environment, the prices of suitable properties in Western Attica have been steadily rising in recent years. Consequently, every building and area entering the market attracts the interest of both SARMED and other players, with HIG being the primary contender.
As mentioned in Prodexpo, there is a need for more areas that align with European standards, and tenants are willing to pay higher rents for environmentally-friendly logistics spaces.
