MEGA is proceeding with the implementation of one of the largest self-production energy projects in Greece.
The investment involves the installation of photovoltaic systems with a total capacity of 3MWp, on a roof area of 25,000 square meters of its facilities in Acharnes.
More specifically, the project is part of an investment series within the framework of the sustainability strategic program "ACT GREEN. Redesign-Reduce-Recycle", in collaboration with MGD Energy. It is expected to yield 4,436 MWh/year of green electrical energy, which is equivalent to offsetting 2,537 tons of CO2 per year.
The project was successfully completed by the technical company MGD Energy. For over 13 years, MGD Energy has been actively contributing to the implementation of the green transition of businesses in our country.
MEGA now harnesses solar energy for its production, significantly reducing its environmental impact and serving as a sustainability model for businesses both within and beyond Greek borders.
