The stock market closed slightly lower in today's session, with trading activity at low levels.

The General Price Index closed at 1,227.27 points, recording a slight decrease of 0.13%. On intraday basis, it reached a high of 1,233.29 points (+0.36%) and a low of 1,222.28 points (-0.54%).

The value of the transactions amounted to 60.50 million euros, while 20,225,038 shares were traded.

The large-cap index experienced a decrease of 0.12%, while the mid-cap index strengthened by 0.17%.

There were 48 stocks that saw an increase, 50 declined, and 15 remained unchanged.

National Bank concluded the session with the highest turnover at 9.95 million euros and a slight increase of 0.07%. Eurobank strengthened by 0.52% with 4.3 million euros in turnover, Alpha saw a marginal increase of +0.03% with 3.2 million euros in turnover, while Piraeus closed with losses of 2.46% with transactions totaling 6 million euros.

Mytilineos closed with gains of 1.49% and a turnover of 4.9 million euros, supported by the target price upgrade from Piraeus Securities to 44.5 euros. OPAP recorded an increase of 0.98%, OTE 0.37%, and ELPE 0.8%.

On the other hand, sellers focused on Jumbo with -2.21% and 3.1 million euros in turnover, DEH with -1.04% and 2.4 million euros, Motor Oil with -1.19% and 1.8 million euros, and Aegean, which corrected after two strongly positive days, with -1.03% today.
