The year is expected to close on a particularly positive note for Jumbo, with double-digit growth rates, according to information from BnB Daily.

In fact, the same information states that if the forecasts are confirmed, the company will provide an increased dividend for the year. The performance of the first ten months also foretells positive figures for the year, as the recorded growth is significant.

The rewarding of shareholders is a central priority for the company, which is expected to provide increased dividends, as mentioned above. Specifically for this year, the group will provide an extraordinary cash distribution of €200 million from retained earnings of previous fiscal years.

This is a generous reward equivalent to a gross amount of €1.47 per share. The commencement of payment for this extraordinary cash distribution has been set for November 29th.

As reported by the same sources, the company is expected to proceed with price reductions and other codes, in addition to the 9,000 products that already have reduced prices.

The management feels justified in its choice for lower prices on the shelves, as the movement has increased, as well as the company's turnover.

At the same time, the company's investment plan is progressing according to schedule. Yesterday, the operation of the new leased branch officially started in the center of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, while the progress of the new owned branch in the city of Iasi, Romania, is considered particularly positive.

Regarding the company's sales performance for the ten-month period, the picture is as follows:

Greece: The net sales of the parent company in October (excluding intra-company transactions) showed an increase of 4%. Overall for the ten months, the net sales of the parent company - excluding intra-company transactions - increased by 17% compared to 2022.

Cyprus: Sales from the stores in October were down by about 5% compared to the same month last year, when explosive growth was recorded. Overall, sales from the stores in Cyprus for the ten-month period are increased by about 13%.

Bulgaria: The network's sales recorded an increase of about +3% in October compared to the same month last year. Overall sales in Bulgaria for the ten-month period are increased by 14%.

Romania: Network sales as well as sales from the online store (www.e-jumbo.ro) saw an increase of about 14% in October compared to the same month last year. Overall sales in Romania for the ten-month period are increased by 16%.
