The stock market recorded declining trends in today's session, with the market retreating towards the 1,200-point amid a bearish atmosphere in European markets.

The General Price Index closed at 1,203.08 points, marking a decline of 1.23%. Intraday, it recorded a lower value at 1,199.18 points (-1.55%).

On a weekly basis, the main stock index experienced a 1.37% decrease, while year-to-date gains stand at 29.39%.

The total value of transactions amounted to 73.49 million euros, with 19,931,899 shares traded.

The high-capitalization index witnessed a decrease of 1.42%, while the mid-cap index retreated by 0.27%.

Among high-capitalization stocks, the largest increases were observed in DEI shares (+2.30%), Elvalhlcor (+0.84%), and OLP (+0.46%).

On the contrary, the biggest declines were noted in Motor Oil (-3.04%), Jumbo (-2.91%), Alpha Bank (-2.58%), Eurobank (-2.16%), OTE (-1.94%), and EYDAP (-1.74%).

Among individual indices, the highest gains were seen in the Public Utilities index (+0.82%) and the Financial Products index (+0.31%), while the largest losses were in the Personal Products index (-2.65%) and the Food index (-2.62%).

The highest trading volume was reported by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, with 4,789,733 and 4,339,531 shares traded, respectively.

OTE recorded the highest transaction value with 7.82 million euros, followed by the National Bank with 7.14 million euros.

There were 37 advancing stocks, 66 declining stocks, and 10 remained unchanged.

The stocks with the highest gains were CNL Capital (+29.66%) and Intralot (+9.08%). The stocks with the largest declines were Epilektos (-9.91%) and Akritas (-9.72%).
