The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) is launching a new, automated process for faster handling of digital requests for the commencement of individual business operations, processed by AADE through the "My Requests" platform in the myAADE digital portal.
From now on, when submitting their request, the citizen will continue to select their competent Tax Office (DOY). However, if the new digital system identifies the possibility of faster service by another Tax Office, the request is automatically routed to that DOY, regardless of its jurisdiction. The taxpayer is informed with a relevant email message, allowing them to know at any given time which Tax Office is processing their request.
If there is a specific reason (e.g., the need to access a specific file), the Tax Office that received it through digital routing can return it for processing to the DOY of the initial submission. In this case, the taxpayer is also informed about the Tax Office processing their request.
This innovative management has started with requests related to the commencement of activities by natural persons not served through the Unified Digital Gateway (Gov.gr), gradually expanding to include new procedures.
