Stock prices closed slightly lower in Monday's session on the Athens Stock Exchange.

Although the market moved higher for most of the trading session, it eventually slipped below 1,250 points.

The General Price Index closed at 1,248.63 points, recording a slight decline of 0.14%. In intraday trading, it reached a high of 1,260 points (+0.76%) and a low of 1,245.38 points (-0.40%).

The trading volume amounted to 138.08 million euros, with a total of 29,538,655 shares traded.

The large-cap index recorded a decrease of 0.11%, while the mid-cap index strengthened by 0.35%.

Out of the total stocks, 46 showed gains, 59 experienced losses, and 23 remained unchanged.
