A significant agreement, worth hundreds of millions of euros, is being negotiated between Elefsis Shipyards and a major Greek shipping company.

In the immediate future, the company will commence a substantial investment program exceeding 500 million euros.

Although it remains unclear what portion of this specific capex Elefsis Shipyards will receive, it is certain to be a substantial share, according to sources from BnB Daily.

The under-discussion agreement pertains to both the conversion of existing ships and the construction of new ones. If the discussions, currently at a relatively mature stage, are successful, and the agreement progresses, Elefsis Shipyards will embark on its restructuring with a significant capital injection.
