Significant developments are expected in the field of transportation today, as signatures are set to be put down for the utilization of the port of Kavala, and the signal is anticipated to be given for the commencement of work on the Bralos – Amphissa highway.

Specifically, today the sub-concession agreement for the right to use, operate, maintain, and exploit a multi-purpose station in a section of the Commercial Port of Kavala  Filippos B, is expected to be signed.

Thus, the concession will pass to the consortium Black Summit Financial Group – EFA Group – GEK Terna, which had prevailed in the competition of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED), with a duration of 40 years.

The value of the concession amounts to €33.9 million, while during the agreement's validity, the sub-concessionaire is required to implement investments of €36 million.

In the presence of the political leadership of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport at the construction site, the signal for the start of the construction works of the "Bralos – Amphissa" highway of the diagonal Road Axis "Lamia – Itea – Antirrio" is expected to be given.
